I'm more or less doing that to my 99. Quite a bit of work, tho. All one-off custom. Pisses me off that I started before MoCo debuted the 18s. Makes me look like a copy cat. Oh well. That's what I get for being so damn slow.

There are some cool gauges by a company “motogadget” https://motogadget.com/shop/en/motoscope-pro.html

They are a fortune, but really cool. The fact that your bike isn’t canbus is a benefit as these won’t work with canbus I don’t think.

Yessir. Most of my bike is now electrified by Motogadget.

M.Lock
M.Unit Blue
Motosign Mini
Motoscope Mini
M.Switch Mini (x2)
M.Blaze Disc signals (removed in lieu of Deltfab signals and Posh throttle)

excellent. I don’t remember ever seeing a post on that. Got any photos of your setup?

A bunch of short updates spread over many months in my build thread. Nothing really finished yet. It's all been tested and works but I still have to build the final wiring harness and weld the tank back together (hidden rear mount, lifted 1.5", moved back 1.5", relocated fuel crossover, smooth top, ground all welds flat, etc.). Travel, weather, job, and learning how to do leatherwork (among other ongoing hobbies) has kept me preoccupied since late spring. Just now getting back to the bike.

The M-lock is hidden and the bars are basically done. M-unit is mounted next to a little Antigravity lithium, both inside the modified (stock appearing) battery box.

Old, much has changed, but this is the basic idea

Here's a quick photo summary of the electrical stuff...

M-lock is behind this custom carbon fiber trim piece. Can't use metal. It blocks the RFID signal.

They're Deltfab levers but I swapped out the leds to 3W Oznium units.
