Rebuild kit for TC heads?
#21
Well you have a whole lot of problems going on there and calling me an idiot is not helping you
LOL
You dont set your pushrods in increments for one!
But this will beat the hell out of your cam and wheels on the lifters..
So your master mechanic BS is pretty much that, along with a parts guy solving all your problems for you.
The running header states" rebuild kit for TC head", Now what part did I miss?
There is no GD thing nowhere period.
Your springs will not cause any clicking ticking problems, but will allow valve float and bent valves it not correct and on the other side of 6K RPM.
I douby=t it is your problem
You being a master mechanic and all dealing with the elementary here is a bit confusing to me.
Afj pushrods do not come lose unless they were not ever locked with the jam nut.
Like I said you have to know what your thread count is to center your lifters correctly, or the clicking will drive you nuts
LOL

ok let me clarify, I started by adjusting the pushrods according to the instructions, heard excessive noise while running so other members told me they’ve had to adjust their pushrods further so I slowly adjusted until the noise I was hearing was gone. I ended up adjusting them an additional 6 flats before the noise stopped. Others told me to go further but I’m not comfortable pushing it that far. So when I say I’m as far as I can go, I mean they’re adjusted as far as I’m comfortable with. That was my first experience with adjustable pushrods but I’ll never trust them not to come loose so at some point he’ll be coming back out.

yea I just don’t trust em. I locktited the **** out of mine and the only reason I got em was cause my se rods wouldn’t work with the s&s lifters cause of the travel limiters. I had a problem with the travel limiters so I just removed them completely. Of the three guys I know who had them come loose, one was my father in law (he knows his ****), another was another friend of mine who’s also a tech at the same dealer with me, the last one is just one of the club guys I know but the point is that two of em know engines so I know they didn’t f up the install.
