Default Turn signal relocation for Leather Pros saddlebags on a Dyna Low Rider S

I ordered Leather Pros saddlebags ( Retro Series v2 ) for my FXDLS today. The dealer is going to do the install when the bags come in and told me I need the following to move the license plate and turn signals to install the saddlebags:

What other options do I have for the relocation ? Anything you guys recommend that may be a better solution ?

Thanks,

Nick

I went with an integral turn/stop light. It is not strictly DOT approved, but the cops have never given me any trouble. Mine was made by Custom Dynamics.

My Low Rider S.

BTW, the inserts on the fused welded support bar will not hold up with the saddle bags. They will pull thru. I needed to have custom inserts made and tig welded to the support bar. I am talking about the bars included in the turn signal relocation kit. If I had to re-do it, I would have started with a 1" by 1/8" bar with inserts for a bullet-proof installation.

Hope that helps,

Dave

Crazy question... Is this a quick release kit? Or perminet one?
Next if release does it make noise?

Quick release. The cam locking feature of the locking mechanism makes a solid connection. No noise.

I second this. A couple years and 5000 miles later still solid and looks great
