I have an '06 WG with the detachable sport. Attached a leather fanny pack as a fork bag just below headlight. Eliminated 60-70%+ of the buffeting. Going to tryto buy and alter chrome wind deflector lowers to fit somehow for long rides. May use those same quick release clamps that came with the windshield. Turn signals are somewhat in the way.
