Default Confused in Colorado

I am a horrible back yard mechanic at best and I was changing my wife’s tires on her 2013switchback. Let’s just cut to the chase, I did not pay attention to the spacer placement and now the axle will not go in. Please help!!!

If the axle is not going in you don’t have the wheel aligned properly, I use a jack on my lift table and lower the bike onto the wheel, slowly until the axle slide right in. Make sure you follow the service manual for torque spec. Also grease the axle.

do not bang on it with a hammer.....bumping it with your hand is all the pressure you need....

Did you move the tensioners at all when you pulled the wheel? If so, sounds like they are no longer lined up.
