Default Bike won't fire, fuel pump sounds weak

My 03 Heritage springer died on me, would sputter then finally quit all together. The fuel pump sounds weak when you turn on the ignition. It does not have the high pitched whine it normally has, and the battery is on tender (brand new battery).

is it carbed or efi? If it's carbed then the fuel pump is decidedly not your problem.

Its efi, has a power commander too which came on it when I bought it. Thought at first the PC was the issue but after hearing the pump get quiet I am thinking the pump is the problem

You could unplug the power commander and just plug the ecm in, just to see if it will fire up, if so then you have you're answer.

Your internal pressurized line may have a leak... many of these develop leaks over the years, from rubbing on the insides of the tank.
