hey fellas,

i'm looking for a badlander seat for my '06 Dyna SuperGlide. i have read alot of posts here about people not really liking that seat all that much so i'm hoping to get a great deal on one . i sat on one on a street bob at the HD dealer the other day and i liked the way it lowered me to the ground (only 5'5") so if anyone has one they'd like to cash in, let me know. Thanks.

 

you got to have a strong a$$ to use that seat. I have a brand new one for a 04 lowrider took it off after the first 50 miles on it. willing to sell it but I don't think it will fit a 06

 

I believe I have one. It came with my 06 Bob and I swapped it out for aTall-Boy seat. Let me check it out and be sure. I'll get back on the forum tonight. There are two "Badlander" seats in the 2007 catalog. On page 154, item C, there is aleather one and on page 155, item D, is the standard one (I guess). I believe I have the standard one. Like I said, let me get home and check it out.

I bought one and I liked the way it fit on my Ultra than the one I have for the Dyna. Being Verticually challanged like myself you might want to try lowering the bike as well.

My bad, I don't have a badlander seat. I guess my head was up and locked. I have the sundowner seat with the pillion.

 

I LIKE THE SEAT, YA THE MAKE TO ONE IS LEATHER AND THE OTHER IS VINYL , MINE IS LEATHER BOUGHT AT DEALER I THINK IT WAS $299

 

just picked up a leather badlander off ebay for like $150.00 plus shipping. been used like 3 times. not bad considering dealer gets $235.00 for it. [sm=smiley20.gif]

 

Hales in Ohio, Badlander $160, Leather about $200. I personally like the Badlander. I have done some 500 plus mile days with on on my Street Bob. A little rough but you can do it.
