probably not, but any time you let more air out ( slip ons) ... you should let more air in (free flowing air cleaner) and if your adding more air, it needs more fuel as well (jets or a tune)
I put slip ons on my bike with no tune at first. My fxdls had really bad decel pop and i thought it ran funky. It would bog down on acceleration from a stop sometimes. I put a fuelpak 3 on with a custom map and it does run better. No decel pop and doesn't ever bog down.
I'm curious doesn't the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act protect us from HD claims that our warranty is void if we change a part that has nothing to do with a future problem or failure? Isn't the burden on the OEM to prove our mods caused a problem? I'm sure there are folks on this forum well versed in this area that can share some knowledge.
