Default Anybody own or ever own Street Glide?

I love the LRS, but wondering if I'd love tunes and a fairing even more.

Thanks for any input.

Already posted in the touring section that I was thinking about it. Asking you fellas now.

One of my buddies just got a 2018 Street Glide and he keeps trying to get me to ride it. I haven't for 2 reasons. 1. I absolutely love my Dyna. 2. I don't want to love the Street Glide more.

Don't take somebody else's opinion for fact. Find out for yourself. Rent or test drive one.

test rode one for 2 hours...fell in love. The only thing stopping me of getting one is the m8 engine. It felt gutless on the hwy, my stage 1 103 felt more powerful than the stock m8. The m8 runs very very smooth, but it feels like a metric. No "Harley" sound. It's very tame.

It has been the MOCO’s most popular model for several years now. That claim to fame always turns me off immediately, but I am weird like that.

You know there are music and fairing options for your dyna, but if you’ve got the new bike itch, you won’t hear any of them...

Loved mine and would jump back on one in a hartbeat. Not so much for the music, I could care less about that, just a fantastic ride all round.

Dude they're really nice. I rode a late model street glide and road glide back to back helping my buddy at the local dealer move some stuff around. Absolutely love them both. Were I not broke, one of them would have come home with me!

The hipster in me wont consider one just because they're too "mainstream" everyone has one, just another bike that blends in with all the other ones on the road.

If I were to consider any touring bike, I't would be a Road Glide Special.

I rented one for a 5 hour road trip when I was in Vegas...It was sooooo nice. Love my Dyna but the fairing at speeds is the way to go.

What's stopping me is my wife says it looks like an old mans bike!!! lol.

I am currently in the market for some sort of wind deflection for my Dyna for long trips. Looking at the Dart Flyscreen "Marlin".

I've got a lrs now and traded a road glide to get it. Was the road glide nice, oh yes. Music was very nice and the bike was smooth to ride. The dyna is more fun to me and was worth it. I wouldn't mind having another road glide later on but as said by someone else I couldn't do the street glide it's just too common. If you want tunes and wind deflection you could always put a fxrt or batwing fairing on the bike.
