I put 12" Paul Yaffe Monkey Bars with all new braided lines, Fuel Moto headers and Jackpot exhaust, PM air cleaner, and Fuel Moto Power Vision on a friends 2014 Street Glide Special.

I took it out for a test ride and I must say it was very comfortable and loved the music. The full fairing made the bike very quiet compared to my Street Bob. I could instantly see how peeps can ride forever on those baggers. However, I felt like an old man on my way to pick up a Viagra prescription at Walgreens.

I may buy one to mod out in the future but it would have to be raked out with the 26"+ wheel on the front for me to truly like the overall looks and not feel like I need an AARP card. Those modded baggers look good!

I am currently in the market for some sort of wind deflection for my Dyna for long trips. Looking at the Dart Flyscreen "Marlin".

There is a reason the street glide is so popular... they can do pretty much anything... I recommend you ride your buddies and see for yourself.

I want one, I love them. I ride my dads from time to time, and have demoed several including CVO models. My problem is I made the mistake of putting my wife on an ultra and now thats the only bike she wants us to get. So as much as I want a street glide I'm going to end up with an ultra with a detachable tour pack. Its a true "old man's" bike but no doubt it is super comfortable for her and I want her to be happy with riding too.

That being said I won't sell my FXDL to get it, I'll be keeping my dyna and adding the ultra to the garage in a few years.

Hell yes! Love my LRS and its my daily..... But love my SG just as much.... Could care less about tunes, personally. Both have alot of dough into em and are basically clones of each other in builds.... Especially dig the SG on cold mornings into work..... The LRS is definitely parked on the 40 degree rides into work.....

My 2 cents...... I grabbed a cream puff 16 with loooowww miles for a steal..... Didnt like the m8, but wanted the latest rushmore with TC motor.... Get a 14 to 16 SG.....

Both are my forever bikes..... If u can pull it, get em both..... If u love your Dyna..... DONT ride his.....

owned both a switchback and now a street glide.. street glide is GREAT but let me add that the switchback was GREAT ALSO!! the street glide just doesn't handle like the switchback which is a given due to the weight.. I miss the hell out of it, unfortunately with a 1 car garage it had to go..

I am currently searching for a house down south and it will have either an over sized one car or preferably a 2 car garage at which time I will pick up another switchback and create the sport glide HD was supposed to give us instead of that thing with the useless fairing and bags

This is my first Street Glide and so far I love it. It took me a long time to buy one because i hated that I was buying a bike that is everywhere. I also really liked the RGS and may have been leaning slightly towards buying it but I liked them both so much that I let the flip of a coin decide. Couldn't have gone wrong with either bike.

Put 75,000 miles on my old 2007. Was a good bike lots issues that year with tranny , etc. buffeting was brutal. I liked it why I rode the hell out of it. Got old it got heavy I downsized. As for the tunes I actually like my Bluetooth sena better.
