I am going to put on an aftermarket headlight. Being that it is longer than stock I'll need to fabricate some sort of mount. Does anyone have any recommendations that worked well?

not cheap - but maybe a good reference point.

 

I just got one of those 5.75 x 9 Cobras from easternperformance on eBay. In order for that thing to mount up without the back end of the light hitting the frame neck it needs a special mounting block. easternperfomance sells one of those also, for only a measly $30.00, not cheap, but necessary.
