reloction kit, they make two kinds if want ghost brackets and saddlebags like i did you relocate them to the rear fender
also you can get a kit that leaves them in the stock position but kicks them out about an inch so that the backrest bracket slides on the inside of them between them and the fender,
thats the one my dealership installed by mistake, i wanted them moved to the fender instead[:@]

Check out my 'backside' post. I got so frustrated, I made my own custom signal stalks. too tired to gi into details - I posted my project a cople weeks ago...

THE HD RELOCATION KITS ARE AN ABOMINATION - your bike is way to slick to subject to such punishment! (by the way, you still have the coolest helmet on the forum!)

dude!!
if'n i'm takin' the tail light OFF the fender, why would i put the relocation kit up there all by itself....!?!
and as for the backrest, i said i wanna use the removable....not the permenant.

i'll check that out. maybe i can make something that will fit right behind the rear min-post for the backrest.

and thanks for the compliments

I made a stoplight/turn signals out of flexible LED lights and mounted on the lip of the fender (see pic). Mount was made of aluminum stripping and automotive 3M tape (no modification to fender). The light could have been recessed out of view even further and been effective but my fender is pretty slammed and during aggressive launches didn't want to worry bout clearance issues.

drilled and fit stock blinkers ... you could add the stop kit and lose the brake light too.
