Check out a C&C sport tour, I will probably be going this route soon.

I have saddlemen step up, love it.

broke in fast, ride feels great.

wouldn't pick any other seat for me.

I've gotta update my pictures, but seat looks good too.

I bought the HD detachable with luggage rack. doesn't look amazing, but pretty damn functional.
My last HD looked great, but uncomfortable. This one I'm going for function and fun. Not bar hops.

A quick update on what I ended up doing based on everyone's suggestions. Bought the Top Hand Ventures sissy bar and you all were correct, great quality welds, powder coating and even the packing it was shipped in was well thought out. Took the advice of using thin cardboard to protect the paint as well. Great idea. With the TH sissy bar the turn signals have to only be loosened, no wire cutting needed. Now I need a bar pad, what have you all used with this bar? Hole spacing is about 3 13/16" (97 mm). Seems to be a few universal pads on Amazon so I might go that route.

Went with the Saddleman TR Step Up with gold stitching and gel. Added a sheet of 3M protection for the paint as well. Thanks to Buster at Saddleman for helping out with the order.

Thanks to all that responded to my OP.

Jerry

I love my Saddlemen Step Up. I went through a Corbin (way too hard for my butt) and a C&C (fit way too loose on the bike and started rubbing into the clear coat on the tank) before I got the Saddlemen. I wish I had bought it first. Could have saved some money.
