Danmoto Highwayman 2-1 Exhaust

Digging up an old thread...I’m curious what map you’re running on your FP3 with the danmoto exhaust. I have a 2014 FXDB with the DanMoto Highwayman exhaust and big sucker 2 air cleaner. I’ve always been happy with its performance until getting on the highway two days ago...my gf on her fully stock 2018 Roadster stayed with me up to 110mph. My bike didn’t pull ahead at all. I know the 170lb difference between me/my bike over her is a factor, but curious if another map setup might get me a little extra juice.

So then, the reports of inferior density and poor quality is not across the board. The super short length and lowered fitment would be a concern but, the Roadster sits pretty high and I dont plan to knee drag thru the corners. I'd hate to waste the $$ on a pipe I'll eventually need to replace. The TBR comp-s sounds very similar. I just can't justify spending that much on an exhaust anymore.

I love the idea of an affordable stainless 2-1. They were $198 on their website a few days ago. I just can’t get over how short the dyna ones are. I’ve seen them on road glides where the pipe extends way past the transmission and I think they look great. If they come out with one for late model dynas that extends out further I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Just ordered
They are on sale for $150 on their website right now. I ordered one for my 2018 Heritage Classic. I’ll install it once it comes in and post a sound bite of before and after. The stock pipes on the Milwaukee 8 doesn’t even sound like a Harley. Hopefully this fixes that and adds some performance.
