Anyone got a Street Bob with a 2-1 Vance Hines Pro Pipe?
I was thinking of going with a 2 into 1 pipe when I do my exhaust and was thinking of going with the Vance and Hines 2-1 Pro Pipe which is made by Python exhausts. I found a company on ebay selling them at $399 plus shipping. I'd like to see a picture of a street bobwith the pipe on it before buying one. anyone got a pic? below is the pipe for the 06-07 Dyna.

I dont have a pic, but I hear good things about those pipes. I bought my Pipes, A/C and Thundermax Autotunefrom American Classic Motors a week or so ago. It was at my door in less then 24 hours. I was SHOCKED!!!! By the way thats a Python 2-into-1 made by Vance and hines. I guess they make all Pythons stuff. Good luck!

AMC's ebay ad is a little misleading calling that pipe a Vance & Hines Pro Pipe. It is indeed a Python. The price is good though, list price in the Drag catalog is $495 (part# 1800-0274). The only Pro Pipe V&H has for 06-07 Dynas is the Pro Pipe BP, which has the traditional megaphone.

That is indeed a picture of a Python 2into 1. It is made by Vance & Hines as others have said. I have it on my 07 LowRider and I really like the sound, very deep and throaty.

I have the Screamin Eagle Air filter, Powercommander, and a generic map downloaded from the Powercommander site. It is for another brand 2-1 pipe so it's not dyno tuned, but works really well with no popping or backfiring.
Eventually i will get it dynoed to take full advantage of the equipment.
The bike pulls very hard.I have the acellerator pump feature ON and noticed a decrease in mileage...most likely due to my hand always twisting the throttle! Go to the site and read about the pump feature if you're not familiar with it.
My brother has a 2006 Dyna with a set of slip ons, and the same other equipment as me and I pull away from his. He has the 25° injectors and I can tell it's running a little rich with the generic map we downloaded. I'm still running the 8° because my bike has always ran well.
To answer your question...yes, they improve performance, and improve the sound!

Thanx for the info. As soon as I got off of the forum I started looking through the catalogs for 2 into 1 pipes and the wife asked me what I was up to. Of course I said "nothing." Now the pages with the saddle bags and the exhausts have little sticky notes on them. I think she's catching on.

I put onPython 2into1, big sucker and thundermax with autotune. The bike pulls much harder now right from idle thru the rev range. Low speed handling is much improved, the bike idles better, before it would tend to stall sometimes when starting out, now it just pulls right from the start.
