Just picked up the BMC Fairing and the lowers. I'm wanting to run some speakers in it. Does anyone have any advice, links, videos, etc. I was hoping to wrap my head around cutting it by looking at some How To's from other people. Any specific speakers you'd recommend?

 

 

 

I don't know of any links or videos, but here is what I am in the process of doing to my RWD fairing. I'm putting 6.5" Kenwoods with a Kenwood bluetooth amp to avoid running a head unit. I'm sure there are better speakers and amps, but I'm not a speaker head, I just want some tunes for the long rides. I used a tool for cutting sheet metal to make the holes for the speakers. I've seen guys use jigsaws but it makes for a really rough cut with lots of clean up. You could probably use a dremmel as the fiberglass cuts really easy. It's a little un-nerving to cut holes in an expensive fairing, just take your time and measure 3 times. Here are some pics. I'll update when I make more progress.
