So what is the story behind the latest version of the Dyna Low Rider?
Most seem to have the widely publicized two into one exhaust, standard procedure here.
On some (mostly 2017s) sometimes you also find the two for two staggered exhausts very similar to that of a Street Bob but chromed.
Seems the factory could have used up some leftover parts to clear the way for the new 2018s
new frame & M8 engine. I like the looks of old 2 into 2 exhaust, but with louder mufflers.
The 2 into 1 exhaust is more efficient, and eliminates the need for the crossover pipe.
Most OEM pipes wind up in the scrape pile anyways. They simply have nothing else different with them, only reason I can think of is possibly that NON-US spec bikes might get the 2-2 pipes.
