Default Need info for 06 switchblade mag on 13 model.

I am planning on putting 2006 switchblades on a 2013 Super Glide. I have been told the 06 is 1” bearings and mine are 25mm. What all do I need to make this work? I know it can be done im just not sure what bearing/spacer kit I need. Sorry for beating a dead horse but I have searched for hours and just ended up with a bunch of misinformation. If you could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

thanks

bearings to fit your bike/ axle and the spacer out of your current hub/ wheels should allow them to work. or buy the correct hub spacer and bearings at the dealer or harley webstore. just make sure the wheels have a 52mm bearing bore diameter in the hub, I'm not sure if Harley changed that when switching axle diameters but I dont think they did.

I'd replace the wheel bearings while you're installing new wheels. I used Timken 205PP bearings and the hub spacer from my OEM spoked wheel set when I went to alloy wheels.

I plan on installing all new bearings I’ve just seen where people said I would need a space behind the bearings on the rotor side to make the 25mm work in a wheel that came with 1”.

I did a little looking the 1in axle bearings are 21mm wide, our 25mm axle bearings are 15mm wide. looks like you'll need a 6mm shim/ spacer to account for that in the bore hole to sink the bearing tight in the rotor side hole.
1in axle bearing spec- 52mm OD x 21mm W x 1in ID
25mm axle bearing- 52mm OD x 15mm W x 25mm ID.

I’d really love to talk to someone that has done it so I know exactly what I need to do without speculating. Im buying a set I found on a good deal and need to know exactly what parts I need to order.

You'll use all your original 2013 parts (whl spacers and center spacer sleeve), but add a Front and Rear Bearing Shim (F&R are different thicknesses) under the Primary Bearing side (Brake Rotor Side).

Harley sells those shims for that exact purpose...to do what your're trying to do

Let me know if you need part#s

What’s those part numbers? I’m having an issue with mine, the rear isn’t bad the inner hub spacer is touching both bearings but my front I got a decent sized gap I’m able to move around the inner hub spacer.
