Taller tire on Wide Glide

Taller tire on Wide Glide
My perfect bike would be a 2012 to 2018 Wide Glide but I dislike sitting 26.7 inches from the ground. I currently ride a 2006 XL1200R Sportster Roadster sitting 29.5 inches and actually wish it was 30.5. I can easily fix the Wide Glide for me with taller shocks but I don't want the resulting fender gap.
My question is, instead of going for the available 200/55-18 which would not hit the frame but only takes up an extra 1.3 inches under the fender, if I found a size that was perhaps 2.5 inches taller, what do you do or mod to keep the tire from hitting the frame at the point I marked on the picture?

I don’t have an answer to your question, I assume u are looking for more lean angle or you are tall. I can tell you that stock wide glide lean angle is 26 degrees on the right ( because of stock exhaust )31 on the left. I went with half in taller shocks, 80-90 front tire to a 90-90, after market exhaust. I figure lean angle is at least 32 degrees on each side. If you are looking for an all out canyon carver you should be looking for a different bike.
