Default anyone running a Vance Hines Pro Pipe with leatherpro's?

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be installing a set of leatherpro bags on my street bob and am wanting to go with a new set of pipes. I'm wanting to go to a set of Vance and Hines pro pipe if possible. Just worried if there is enough clearance for the pipe to clear the pipe?

I have a set of the Retro bags on my '08 FXDL, which hang just above the axle, and there's about 1.5 - 2.0 inches of space between the bottom shield and my Thunderheader. I have a hunch that if your exhaust selection runs lower that the axle, you should be good.

BTW I can't say enough good things about the LP bags! Sure, they're not cheap, but mine are 4 years old and are frequently mounted & removed, and have held up great. I had an issue where I didn't have the adjust turnbuckle correctly set, and I sent a picture to Gary J from LeatherPros and got me squared away. In fact, Gary J is member of this forum and always chimes in with perspective/comments/advice - he's a great resource!

no not squimish at all. Bags will be on this week. Just wanted to make sure that the pipe wouldn't burn a hole through a bag. I was counting on the fact that I wasn't going to be the first one that's why I was asking.
