Default H13 led bulb for 2009 fat bob

I'm sure somewhere on this Forum is my answer, but I can't find it. So I want to replace my stock H13 bulbs with H13 LED's. But from what I've read there is onloy so much clearance to the back of the headlamp. I found one LED that is 3.83" in length with includes the small aluminum fan. But then I found a LED that has copper weave cloth heat-sink which eliminates the need for noisy, failure prone fans, and it could be flexed around the inside of the housing. Does anybody know how much clearance I have in my headlight bucket and can auto LED's be used on my Fat Bob?

You have to remember that the bucket is sealed and even using LED's that use the flexible heat sink still needs air flow to cool the LED circuitry. Not knowing for sure, but I would venture to guess that there isn't room for an LED headlight bulb.

I’d pick up a daymaker knock off. LEDs last almost forever, but not when not properly cooled. When hot they burn out way faster then filament bulbs.

Oh sorry, fat bob. I should read thoroughly before responding. Probably not many aftermarket LED’s for that.

I've been running H4 LED bulbs in the stock headlight bucket on my 07 Dyna and the Wife's 04 XLH 1200. Tight but it fits. Cost me $100 for a pair of LED's.

you could run these:

or amazon knockoffs and not blind everyone in oncoming traffic. Stuffing LED bulbs into a housing that wasn't designed for them scatters the light everywhere and just doesn't work as well.
