Hi shorty - I have a 29" inseam also (but big feet sz 13), and I have the 'adjustable' (really only two positions!) hiway pegs set on the closer position (which also looks better as it follows the frame's lines) and don't find it a problem at all. I did replace the 'football' a/c cover and have the SE stage 1 intake, which may make a slight difference. Think the seat/handlebar/control relationship plays a factor too and noticed once I put on the lowered shocks it made it all somehow more comfortable and natural feeling to me. Now my back of my heels can rest on the brake and shifter peg which helps, too. Just my experience for what its worth.

I'm not a short dude (but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last week) but ride with one. Have you looked at different seats? I know HD makes the 'Reach' model and the Mustang vintage solo pushes you forward quite a bit. You could also run an open air filter which would help with your right leg.

All this time I thought HD was designing their bikes for guys your size

Thanks rainmakers, yes they are HD w/traditional rubber pegs like stock ones on the Bobstah, but I had the brackets powdercoated flat black. More pics in my gallery and in this post:

And you're right boogiewithtuck, the seat can make a difference, but I put on a Mustang Solo which moved me back a little (1" ??) and up a tad, and there still wasn't a problem.

I have a 30" inseam and use a Corbin close seat. I am able to reach with room to spare.
I love the seat and forwards and in my opinion they were both well worth the money.
The long pegs with a harley heal restreally helped in getting my short legs around the
breather.

Like others said: close reach seat makes a difference.
Also the stock seat is pretty wide and you lose some leg length just getting around the width.

I asked the same a few weeks back ... have the same inseam as you. The best suggestion I got was to use a floorboard but not convinced I like the look. I'm going to fabricate an engine guard to fit me over the next couple of weeks with foot rests built in ... I'll post pictures/diagram on here

I put a dealer take off seat from a 07 Low Rider on My Street Bob and it made reaching the ground and hwy pegs much better. Feels great too for
longer rides. The HD chrome adustable hwy pegs actually have 4 POSTIONS for adustment if you switch them from side to side. I tried that and found the perfect spot for me.
