What does your 2 Harley (Dream or reality) garage look like?
#61
Don't have any pics at the moment, but my current garage is living the dream. The 4 Harley's in my sig line, the 97 883 and 01 1200C belong to my daughter and son, and outside the garage is a Ninja that belongs to my other son.
If I had to go down to just 2 bikes for me it would be a 1200 Sportster and a Goldwing. If I'm going to get a geezerglide I'll get the best one out there.

dyna and sporty for me. why:
people judge it as girls bike or whatever but, fk um. i love my little red buddy. it's still my priority/primary bike/go to bike
waiting for a monster deal on a new softail 114, that will go under the knife to become a 124+ and dual disked/odc'd. that will make 3. no bike left behind.
i will also take a touring bike if one pops up cheap (sub 6k) just to mess with. so i can be Von Metal... because "i ride" lol
- sporty is still more fun than the fxdwg, to me anyway...
- easier to manage/maneuver in town/tighter areas.
- quicker than the fxdwq
- easier/cheaper to work on than any twin cam/m8
- completely different riding position and ergos, i cant flat foot it without boots..

I have 3 bikes.
2014 fxdl
1979 flh
1980 ironhead
They are all great and have completely different feels. I mostly use the dyna now for trips. Ironhead is a sweet bar hopper hotrod, shovel head is a sweet sunday cruiser.
If I had to cut it down to one bike it would be an easy dicesion and it would be the dyna. To me it is the perfect bike that is capable of dam near anything.
If you add up the cost of all 3 bikes plus mods it would be about equal to one entry level touring bike!

The paint was a special order through Harley's custom paint program in about 1987. All new parts, custom painted to my specs by the factory. Took about 9 months to come in. I mounted the fenders and tanks when new, then in about 1994 I boxed it all up and went with a new set of aftermarket fenders and tanks custom painted. I just unboxed this old set and re-installed a couple of months ago.
Here are some previous versions of the same bike (I've had it since new in 1985).
