My signature says it all.

Love my LRS. The most fun on 2 wheels. Looks, handles and sounds great, etc. Plenty fast enough for me.

Bought my RGS for the obvious reason - MUCH more comfortable after a few hours, plus being in NY, the fairing windshield and some soft lowers makes it downright comfortable to ride down to the 30’s. My general low temp cutoff is about 38 degs - any colder and ice is too close for my comfort. The only parts that get a chill are my hands, and I’m thinking about a set of those fugly hand shields to keep the wind off, or some heated gloves. Other then that, I’m good.

[QUOTE=TejasJeff;16928651]
No sir just gravel under it now. And thank you for the suggestion!! I’m in the boonies so no need for a permit...and sounds cheaper than cement-they’re proud of that shiat. BUT my Dyna currently sits it an enclosed barn type pier/beam construction building...my “workshop” for now. She only sees the elements when I pull her out.
[/QUOTE I hear you, living out the in the boonies is a beautiful thing!!

2 x Super Glides for me :

FXD for hackin round town alone.
FXDC 110th anniversary edition for any sort of 2 up riding.

I was really not sure about what other H-D to buy.
Thought I'd go Ultra or SG.

Missus was happy on the test rides.
Me not so much. Just too bulky.

I finally picked the 110th anniversary edition FXDC with a sundowner seat on it.

So far, I am very happy & no complaints from the back seat either.......

I'd Keep my SB as my every day bike, and get something impractical, but a lot of fun to wrench and pootle around on...

Gonna be designing the new garage once the oldest graduates undergrad. I'm looking at doing a two car garage that faces the street (south) and at the back of the garage have another retracting garage door (east) to be able to bring the bike and other machines in and out of from the alley. An in ground lift that goes flat to the ground to park the bike on and in floor heating. That should give me about 200 sq ft at the back for tools, a large workbench, the bike, and a pisser in the corner.

My FXDLS once I finish my changes, and to finish my fuel injected twin cam powered FXRP, I’m gathering parts for.

Another XL, preferably an 01-03 with an 88” motor...super fun. Had an 01 with a 100hp/88ft lbs and it was VERY entertaining. On the other hand, my current FXDF is as comfortable as I could want for cruising and touring. (Tried the FLH’s but found them too pondorous)

As far as XL’s being a girls bike; never heard that when I was growing up...neither did these guys
