I would consider proper tuning even if I left the mufflers and intake 100% stock!!!
The factory EPA complaint tune is much leaner than I like.
I am running a Fuel Moto tuner. And would recommend something similar to any Harley built within the last 10 years regardless of aftermarket accessories. A proper tune is invaluable to both power and engine longevity. And leaving my engines tune up to the EPA is out of the question. But that's just me.
