Default Extended FL style hardbags on a Dyna?

Planning to mount FL style Hardbags over winter and wondering if I can fit extended bags with the right bag exhaust cutout.

I can do my own mods for the shock cutout and I have the mounting system etc already sorted.

anyone rocking an extended bag setup??

Haven't seen any on here and I usually read most of the saddle bag threads just to see what others are doing.

I asked a while ago if anyone had taken SG hardbags and figured out how to make those work on SB. Never heard anything....I'm still interested in doing that.

I need to figure out how to add them to the SB also. The bigger touring bags would look better and hold more.

I had though about purchasing a set of after market bags and attempting to modify them with heat. First I would create a mold of the pocket on the bags I have. If I could just heat the corner up to soften the ABS and use the mold to press the corner in, that would be awesome. One of these days I will attempt it when the funding allows it.

That is exactly what I'm planning, but looking at maybe the extended bags. I don't know if I'm gonna have issues with banging them on the ground in curves.

Corbin has hard bags for Dyna's. They aren't cheap tho.

These are HD OEM bags or clamshell as they say. Love them.
