Default LEDs vs stock tail lights

Thinking about doing the lo-profile kuryakyn LED smoked tail light and directionals...I ride alot and want to be visable...REAL visable!! so I don't want this upgrade if it's not as bright as the stocker...anyone using this set-up? could use some input before I shell out 3 bills for the lights and a run/turn/brake controller...Thanks.

Here's the feedback I have received and I only have the tail lamp and use the built in turn signals so your experience would bebetter. When the light is just on as normal, it is visibile. When I put the brakes on, it's real visible. When I put on a turn signal...no one sees it so if you are going to have the fender mounted turns, you should be fine all the way around.

It's at least as bright as the stocker, if not brighter.

I have both the LED Tail light & LED turnsignals and the work great. I really like that the turnsignals act as red running lights until you hit the turn signal, then it goes amber

Would be interested in hearing how the installation goes. I'm planning on buying those as well.
