I have a 2000 fxd just recently bought it and removed some rear blinkers completely from the bike mainly because they didn’t work (left would not work at all and right just stayed on never flashed). Now my tail light does not work all. Both running lights and brake light. I checked the bulb, fuses, no wear spots in the wires. Any ideas?

 

When you say "running lights" do you mean the tail light?

If your tail light, brake light and rear signals do not work I'd suspect a bad ground or the circuit board in the rear light assembly.

 

Yes, it is possible that is the bad ground. I have same issue

 

That is exactly what it was. 20 somthing bucks later and I’m all good. Thanks guys
