Default Swapping Corbin & Stock Seats

Howdy,
I'm thinking of getting a Corbin Hollywood Solo for my 07 WG. I mainly ride solo, but occasionally the wife will want to take a cruise at which point I would just put the stock seat back on.
I see the Corbin requires installation of their own hardware and locking system. Does anyone know if the stock seat will still work after the Corbin hardware is installed? I sure can't afford two Corbins!
Thanks for any advice...

You will have to remove the hardware everytime to want to swap out the seats. about 10 min job

I ride a 05 SG. Mostly solo Corbin Hlwd with docking bracket and "spike". Also kept my (ugly as hell) stock seat for the little lady. When I swap, I leave the docking bracket in and remove the "spike" with a 7/16 box wrench. No problems.

Thanks for the info guys. Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a PIA every time I had to swap back and forth. Sounds like it won't be.

You can use a dremel tool to recess a hole for the spike...then it's a ten second job...corbin off with a key twist...and stocker on with a philips screw

Hey Daily thanks for that one, that is a great idea.

I noticed that under the stock seat on the rear fender are some rubber protective pads. Those would be exposed with the Corbin on, so I would want to take them off...but I would still want to protect the fender from scratches when the stock seat went back on.
Would glueing some carpeting to the underside of the stock seat would protect the fender from scratches or is there a better materia recommended?
