If you're going to do it, just do it right...it's not that hard and you could always go back. I hate the looks of some of the "rig jobs" I have seen on this Forum - just not tidy at all. Here is a great Thread going from Mids to Forwards done right:

This might be a silly question, but does stopping on an uphill pose any challenge for the shorter guys with forward controls? I have quite a few steep grades near my house and often find myself stopped at traffic lights on these hills. At a stoplight on an uphill, I will usually have to have my right foot holding the bike with the rear brake pedal and my left foot on the ground. Just curious if this causes any problems for the vertically challenged with forwards installed.
