1995 wide glide
I just picked up a 1995 wide glide, the only reason I got it is to ride while my 07 street glide is in for paint. I know it's an 80 ci but me and the wife took a ride and was impressed.. I put my camaro on Cregslist and some kid called and said he would trade it for my beat up car .. No brainier there.. Well, I go look at it and it has 20 k miles the tires are date coded 05 and the plate on the back was also last registered in 14, 80 year old rider comes out and tells me he got it new and just can not ride anymore. First when I get that old I hope I'm riding . Second this bike is spotless.. Never owned a 80ci what should I look at and replace, other than tires and oil...

Sounds cool!, let see a picture, my Fxr has the original Evo and it goes alright, I mean it is only 600 pounds. Your wide glide is probably 650ish. It not bagger weight. Ina cam bearings were problems as were lifters I believe. Other than that it will run a long time, how many miles? I also have a 2012 wg. Wide glides are my favorite, every thing a Harley should be, says me.

Best Dyna frame for 2-up.
Rebuild the front forks and consider heavier sprung shocks for the rear if you do a fair amount (or more) 2-up.
Inspect all the plastic & rubber parts for age-related degradation.
Lube the cables and such.
Consider inspecting/repacking the bearing (neck and wheels).
Keep an eye on the petcock and carb. The rubbers are getting old and the ethanol makes it brittle.
