For those of y'all running a quarter fairing, what are you using to space the headlight? I put a Krator fairing on mine. Is super solid and a great buy for the money but I need the headlight up about 3/4" and out about the same for it it be perfect..

On mine the "bung King" brackets have enough adjustment to take the fore/aft spacing out. The strut releasess adjust the up down...but I set mine so I just run the upper quick-releases against the bottom of the tree. That way I can install in a minute without having to guess.

You may have to lengthen the adjustment slots if you are at the limit on your brackets.

Headwinds make an assortment of headlight mounts. You can try calling them if you need something more custom?

I used this for my gauntlet to have the headlight sit flush with the front of the fairing.

I have some brackets like the ones on the left and was thinking about using them for a tank lift??
those are about an inch?? right?

now as far as a headlight goes, what's to keep the light from slipping down?

There is a spacer in between the headlight bolt and you sandwich it together

I saw that, but wondered how it held up with the vibration.

I put on a krator last week. Found some spacers at my local ace. Had to turn around the original block, buy a longer bolt, and add a 1 inch spacer. Lines up perfect now.
