The new models look like they are copying the Jap copies of HD designs. Glad I got my street bob when I did.

Don't doubt that it is and has been on the east coast too, just seems like this "style" seems to be more prevalent out here and the used Dyna/FXR market prices reflect the fad, meanwhile I would assume you could probably still buy a much more reasonably priced used Dyna/FXR in NY...

I lived on both coast and the one thing I do remember about Cali was the amount of motorcycles on the road and the different destinations. Between the weather and all the nice roads, two wheels is the way to go.

not sure how much use the 1/4 fairing is for tight maneuvering but it does look pretty good .

I actually bought it for looks and was surprised how much wind it keeps off of me. I’m not even sure it’s a true quarter fairing, more of a headlight cowl.

I just left the bay area and moved to Texas this year. Have been wanting to go back to a street glide ( im just to damn big for extended rides on the Dyna) I took a ride up to the local dealer to look at the Glide i wanted, and i had 7 salesmen all staring and drooling over my "clubbed" Dyna. They gave me 1500$ more then i wanted for it that day to get it in on their floor. They had it priced @ 500 less then the new 17s and it sold in two days.
