fxdls help
Hey there. I have a 2017 fxdls and i just wanted some input on how i can lower the bike without changing out the stock shocks. Im on the shorter side and would like my feet to sit a little flatter on the ground. I have looked up some lowering blocks but see mixed reviews. Any input would be appreciated.

different seat cut lower would help.
the bad news is that you'll have to change the shocks to get it lower.
lower bikes handle harsher, and lowering blocks change the angle of the rear shock. No matter what it won't be stock.
I think the best way is to lower the front and rear equally. The ride will be a little rougher but at least handling should be the same as long as you do the front and back.
At least that's my experience. I lowered my old night train and it rattled my teeth when I hit bumps.

I had one of these for a Road King. I believe it is the lowest seat made, and relatively cheap and comfortable. It is not a touring seat, it is a "go for a ride" 1-2 hr seat. Works.
