Default HD Red brake calipers?

I'd like to install factory red brake calipers (part #41300157) as a counterpoint to all the black on my LRS, but they only offer them for the rear. WTF? Why no (dual) fronts?

I was just lookin on the HD website and I don't see any calipers for the front for the lrs. Have you talked to anyone in the parts department? I find it difficult to believe HD doesn't offer anything for the fronts but if that's the case you might have to go aftermarket.

Break them down and have them powdercoated. I just had my rear caliper and bracket done. $80.

Before...
After...

thought about that too. You didn't have to replace the piston seal or anything? Hate to have it leak after

I completely disassembled. Removed the pistons, seals, and all hardware. I gave them the bare castings and discussed the masking in great detail. They were familiar with coating calipers, so it was largely unnecessary.

At auto parts places I have seen several colors of brake caliper paint kits. That might be an inexpensive option to try?

negative on that. I see a few cars with that at work once in a while and it's usually all chipped and peeling. Powdercoat is the way to go in my opinion. Good idea though

Why don't you just get the HD dual red bagger Brembos? Should be plug and play as both the LRS and baggers have ABS if I'm not mistaken? Then you get the red calipers and an upgrade in stopping power

I see lots of bad DIY caliper paint, too. Although, I did some aluminum calipers years ago with engine paint because of a fairly complicated stencil I wanted. Was three colors. It held up really well for about 12 years and 150k+ miles, but it was a LOT of prep work. Base metal was sanded smooth to remove all the casting irregularity and parting lines. Cleaned and degreased fanatically, primed, sanded some more, etc. Wish I had pics. They looked nice.
