My sportbike days are behind me. Can no longer take the riding position. It was what lead me to get my first cruiser--the Low Rider.

That has crossed my mind but it is a $20K bike. Seems like a lot for a non-touring bike.

I'd hold. Nothing overly special about the LR-S that you couldn't do better.

Then if you just want more power, do an S&S upgrade on your FXDL, it'll cost you way less, make way more power and be way cooler

Think of it this way...a 110 upgrade costs less than the tax you're going to be paying on a new bike...LOL

My Stage 1 103 is set up real nice and I am happy with the performance. But you are right about the S&S motor upgrade down the road. My 2015 LR is paid for and super clean as I do not ride in the rain and it is always covered and garaged.

There is plenty of life left in my 103. When it comes time for a new motor, I would love some sweet 110 or 114 TC from S&S.

What if you stripped the bike back to stock? How much would you get then? Could you reuse the parts or have to sell them and use that money for new parts?

I will likely be riding some 2018s on Sat. I am willing to consider all options.
