anyone running a Memphis shades Road Warrior fairing????
#52
Looking for a couple pieces of advice on this fairing which I just installed and have only one ride behind:
1. Any tips or tricks on getting it mounted as close to the forks as possible? I'd like to ride without the fairing occasionally and the headlight way out on the extension looks goofy without it. So I'd like to tuck everything in as tight as possible as I also think it looks best from a profile view when it blocks the trees and everything...looks like it's meant to be there.
2. I'm 6'3", currently I have the 13" shield and the wind hits me right in the forehead. Doesn't blow my head around but its loud as hell. Looks wise, I like the 13" but, functionally I think I need to go higher, unless a shielded helmet rather than gringo with goggles will solve the problem(unlikely). I think a good way I can get a response from anyone at any height is as follows: In riding position, where is the top of your shield in relation to your face? Is it even with your chin, nose, eyes, etc.?
