I use vht. You don't have to completely black it out. I just did because that was the look I wanted. I tried window tint but it's very hard to shrink it enough for this much curve.

I can here it at highway speeds. The quality of the recording plays a big part of hearing it.

I'd like to find some kind of small bag or pouch I could clip on the fairing where I have the garage door opener in the picture.

Any of you guys running this fairing get a whistle around 45 - 65mph? I'm assuming it's coming from the gap around the headlight? First time I've run a fairing so wasn't sure if this just comes with the territory?

I'm using the outer most holes on the Memphis shades extension block, looks good and flush but I'm willing to drop the light back a bit if it will quiet things down.

mine doesnt whistle. i have the fairing as far back (closest to the neck) as it will go and the headlight perfectly flush. i have run it in every possible position and never had a whistle. do you have the vented windshield or the solid?

my issue is wobble at 80+ mph leans/turns/curves...I have the vented 17" and I believe it's the wind getting caught in the vent holes. anyone else experience this?
I want to swap windshields, but I already had mine wrapped and I'm being lazy about it...but it's really bad. also depends on head winds, big time.

^ oh besides this (major I know) I love it...and I don't recall the issue with my solid screen. that's why I need to do some testing.
I'm 6 foot and it looks tough and works great for wind...juts trying to sort out these gremlins.
