How is the wind compared to no fairing looking to get one for my SB

 

It's a noticeable difference. I took mine off while I was doing a few things to my bike and had it off for a couple of days....I was really surprised at how much wind it actually blocks.....it works good.

 

Thanks for all the pictures, it's made it a bit easier deciding on windshield height. A nine or eleven should work well on my Dyna.

 

admyne, I was looking back at posts about the Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing and ran across your post and pic. That's about what I'm looking for but have a couple of questions if you don't mind. First, did you stick with the 11"?? I'm also 5'6" and have Lucky Dave's "Lucky 13" 11-inch bars. I'm on a Low Rider S. Second, I really like the tint on yours. Which tint is that? I can't quite picture the difference between the Dark Black Smoke and the Dark Smoke. Finally, how do you like the fairing overall now that you've had it on your bike awhile??

I am running the 11", I am 5'6. At higher speeds I did get buffeting. Feels like it's just the tip of my head. I am going to test out the 13"

 

Any update buddy? Did you try the 13" yet? I like the look of the 11" but I'll probably have to go with the 13" because I'm 5'8"

 

I went with the 11" Dark Smoke and am super happy with it all the way around. Thanks for the input.

 

 

Torco1, noticed the viking bags. How do you like them? I have the same 17 as you, picked it up in September. I am not interested in relocating plates or rear signals, wondering if the viking bags you have are the ones without need to relocate and what you think of them? Thanks for the info on the Arleness, was actually considering getting one.
