It is actually quite the same with windshields, a lot of riders think the ride is wobbling, but in fact it is quite simply the wind hitting the shield and turning the forks, same applies to apes, only difference is you are acting as a sail, new bushings do help and also a tight fitting jacket.

It's not only the height, but, more importantly the width.
With wide bars, your hands can not disseminate movement as if they are/were closer together. Also, wider bars offer greater leverage to yoke movement. This sensitivity can cause instability if the hands aren't almost perfectly still. (Which they can never be, as long as you're alive anyway!)

So, the "fix."
The fix is to return to your previous set-up, or~

Add a steering stabilizer.

If you think it's you and not your bike, then get seen by your doc and have them check your nervous system for damage.
Things such as blood suger issues can cause tremers. TBI can too. Addiction withdrawal too. (Especially alcohol.)

Good luck with this.

No wobble on 14s here. Dont waste money on a stabilizer. It's something with your bars windshield or body position. The fact it's happening on 2 bikes speaks for itself.

Well I'm gonna try 14s and see what happens. I moved the apes back but it was just too uncomfortable for me. Seemed a little better though.

Have u tried removing the windshield? Like a previous poster said, it can act like a big sail.

also just double check all the bolts on your triple tree are tight. Regardless if you have rubber or poly inserts, it still shouldn't cause your bike to wobble.

My 2 cents. Check Windshield and front tire pressure. I could always tell when my metzler's were a little low as I would get a little wobble on certain road surfaces

Havvent removed the windshield only cause I'm certain it's from the apes. It was fine before the install. I'm gonna switch to 14s then if need be I'll add a stabilizer but hopefully I won't need to.

Before buying a stabilizer get a new front tire. I'm guessing worn front tire + windscreen + apes = wobble

Looking you pic, what is the white at the bottom of your risers? If that is your bushings? Start there, I have 14's on two inch risers and there's no wobble unless I pull the bars left or right.
