Default LowRider S with No fairing (pictures)

Seen a couple requests for this, thought I would post a couple pictures of what it looks like. Takes about 5 minutes to take off or put on, just 3 bolts.

Personally I'm torn about it. It looks just as good with it off but different. It changes the balance of the looks of the bike though and suddenly there isn't enough black to balance out those gold wheels. Makes it look a little leaner too and moves where the balance of the bike appears to your eye.

Welcome

Yeah, I think I might be in trouble. I was fine leaving well enough alone but now I'm looking to build it.

Wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have two other builds, a '56 and a '67...

Does the fairing actually block any wind? Or is it just for looks.

Personally, I think it looks way better without it.

It does block a little wind on your chest. I would say a 6-8" section or so. Enough I will probably put it back on for this next weeks road trip, but not so much that I wont take it off for the look.

Taking it off though really makes me want to work on the bike and make it my own. It changes the feel of it considerably, funny given how small a detail it is.

Looks like a Street Bob with dual front brakes. Nice!

Real nice bike. I like the look with the fairing on your bike. Does block some wind off the chest also.

First thing I did was take off the fairing and put my street bob windshield on. This was the second I first brought it home. One of the things that attracted me to this bike so much was the similarities to the street bob. I like the fairing but it doesn't block much wind so despite hating the appearance of windshields I chose to rock a windshield.
