I just bought a 07 dyna superglide and I got this cover with it.The only difference is on the bike now the cover has a spline sticking out for normal controls(I think).Mine has the forward controls.Can I use this cover?Can I remove the spline shaft?

 

That's a touring primary cover... however, I have chromed inner primary from a softail on mine... I think if it's the same year it will probably fit. Some people get a hacksaw and cut the spline shaft... there are kits that 'mount' the spline so it's fixed hard to the engine.

The 'clean' way is to pull the primary get the shaft out of there, and then seal up the shaft support tower.
