Default Street Slammer bars on Street Bob question

Gentlemen with Slammer or similar type dragbars, do you really have to replace most of the cables and lines or is that just Harley Davidson trying to get more coin ? If so, what cables do you really have to replace ? Also, SB owners with Slammers, can you please post pics. Thanks in advance. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good Rat. How much did your riding position change does it feel more comfortable then the ape hangers ? I might have to check that out. Sure is a-lot cheaper then the Slammers.

Thanks again, Marcusg

I like the change from the apes. The apes were fine around town I just not on the highway, I felt like a sail. I just did 1800 miles on a trip up to New Mexico with no real comfort issues and I did the rides from Austin to Santa Fe and SFNM to ATX in 12hr rides.
