Default 3" risers for low rider S

Do 3" risers work on a 2016 Low Rider S without changing stock cables?

On mine, 2016 LRS. Two inch risers worked just fine. However, the clutch cable needed a bit of rerouting and is working great. My front brake line could not be rerouted and works fine but has no additional length. Possibly the full three inches would be to much for the brake line. All of the other wiring is plenty long with additional length tucked away.

2" worked fine on mine. I don't think you could go longer without some extra work.

I checked with the local HD shop and they said the OEM cables should work with 3" risers. DK risers are on the way, and I'll post once I know. Thanks for your help.

Just installed the DK 3" risers on the LRS. j0ney3 you're right; they fit - barely. I needed the extra height, as I just installed a LePera Dayton daddy long legs seat, which pushed me back away from the bars. Got the leg room I needed, but it changed my reach. The 3" risers are just what I needed. DK guys are great BTW.

Default 3" risers for LRS & other mods

DK 3" risers; DK 2" tank lift. Road yesterday after the 2" tank lift install, and my head temperatures (HT) were reading 260 -275. The day before (same weather conditions) without the tank lift head temps were around 300. I'll continue to nerd about the HT, and might consider the LJ mighty mites if HT rise to 300 during the hotter temps in summer. Anyone else monitoring HT with the 117?
