easy one here.. it is named after the old schools bobbers from years ago . when many ppl stripped down a harley. now it is called " street bob " , named after the old bobber ...........

Back in the day there were Choppers and Bobbers...Choppers were long and flashy and bobbers were stripped down big twins with anything that didn't make it handle better or go faster removed or drilled out to make it lighter...The front fender was often taken off and the rear was "bobbed" (cut short)...Later
