Default Adjusting rear shocks

Buddy of mine bought a 1998 Fxds. convertible dyna and would like to adjust the rear shocks .We are assuming the shocks are stock (Harley logo ) and they seem to have a set screw .Any advice on the adjustment (no manual) and how to view the setting etc thanks .TR

Review below links - questions., ask

Sag set to:

3/4" - more sensitive (some would say harsher - they're the ones who do not ride by feel)

1" - more plush

If they have a "Logo", they are probably not Original equipment. Better post a Pic

They might be from Harley, just not original to an FXDS.

GooGoo FXR2, FXR3, maybe even FXR4...do they look like those shocks?

Those are FOX shocks that came STD on FXR2,3,4 (like previously mentioned), but you could buy them over the parts counter also.

Looks like Spring Preload Adjustment only
