License Plate mount hole cover. Instead of spending the money on one of them bulky Kuryakyn ones that I don't care for I used license plate bolts. I bought 2 inch tall 1/5dia fat spikes off of ebay for 15 bucks delivered to the door and I think it looks awesome and goes great with my paint job.

Citoriplus,
These are the products I use in no specific order; Simple Green, CD2 Engine Detailer, Zaino products (Z2, Z7, Z8, Z16), and a leaf blower.

I usually just wipe the bike down with Zaino's Z8, and wash and detail the bike three or four times a year. The bike has around 18,000 miles in the above photos. It is a real nice clean ride, even though some think it is just a overgrown Sporty owned and modified by a smart azz.

CD2 Engine Detailer:

I've been looking into the CD-2, how do you use it? Do you spray it on the engine and casework? I've got a silver EVO engine that just never looks clean or nice no matter what I use, it just looks dull and boring. I'm thinking this might be a good product to spruce that up? What does it do to chrome?

I use Simple Green to clean the engine, then after washing the bike and blow drying, I spray the black part or the engine with the CD2 Engine Detailer, wipe off the excess from the chrome parts.

Heres some before and after photos of a Mini Cooper engine, look at the bare aluminum engine mounts, the CD2 Engine Detailer gives them a nice semi gloss shine. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/4881102-post21.html

Default Cleaning wheels, etc

Wandered into a woodworking shop, tools, etc and found "Bowl Polishers" for $ 4.00 and up, a lot cheaper than the Flitz or Mothers.

I've found these online too...way cheaper than the Mothers ball.

I just came from detailyourcar.com and I am very impressed with what they have. I see me shopping there in the near future.

Thanks for the link!

picked this up for $14.99 at Kmart. It's a camcorder case. hard shell, but wrapped in black leather. has 3 compartments inside and a loop for your keys, etc. Measures 6" long, 4" tall and 3.5" thick. Just about perfect to attach to the ignition cover with a couple holes and washers lined up with what's already on the bike. And the right size for glasses, cell phone, camera, keys or a ham sammich.

I don't think I even need to post pics or a how-to on the install, it's a no-brainer. There's also a loop on the back if you want to somehow strap it to the bike instead or attach it to your belt.

I cut the 'handle' off too, btw.
