$1.49 black plastic and simulated chrome face digital clock with self-adhesive base stuck on top of the steering tube nut to tell what time it is without pulling a cell phone out of my pocket

(looking at a cell phone while riding looks kinda stupid and no, I don't work "by the hour", so I don't wear no stinkin watch)

I wanted an old school looking air cleaner. FREE

Went into my cupboard and found these:

Looks better on the bike:

Wanted a fork bag, but didn't want to strap it onto my triple clamp so I bought a hinge and welded it. Since the pic,I have cut off the round hinge part after welding the flat pieces together. $3.00 to $4.00

Cut a slot in the bag for the mount and bolted it together.

Bolted it under the triple clamp using existing bolts and some washers to space it right...over a year and still working fine.

Wanted to fill in the tail light hole and change up the looks. FREE
Cut a metal piece to fill the hole from behind and riveted it in place...holes drilled for new plate mount.

Can't even see the hack work:

Tank graphics for $14.00...clearcoat for $50:

Chromed console for $125. Not under $50 but looks like a million!

Remove horn and relocate sporty horn to below battery on right side
harleyx, I used a sporty horn and put it under the battbox like you have.
I like it there. Picture below, I marked the horn with a red dot.

Got a picture of your setup?? I'd like to see it.

In no particular order:
HD Round Air Cleaner cover for SE Stage intakes - #29153-07 - $32 on sale at dealer
Fishing line and Goo Gone to remove relectors & tank badges - $0 (already had both)
Tank Lift Kit 2-1/4" from Rude Dog - $20
Dyna 07 Service Manual - under $48 on sale at dealer
K&N air filter - approx $44
Exhaust wrap from Thermo-Tec - under $50
Tool Bag braided leather 12x4x4 on ebay - $13
Tombstone tail light w/blue dot - $10 on eBay
Tandy Winged Skull conchos - 6 for $15 on ebay
Spike license plate bolts - $10 on ebay
Fork boots (gaiters) 49mm by DayStar - $13/pair
Road King tank badges (new) - $46 on ebay

Prices approx as best I can remember.

Probably a whole lot more I'm not thinking of right now. I'm a cheap yankee SOB, so I seldom pay much for anything except the bike (!) and even then I got $1500 knocked off list and no set-up or tranportation charges!

Chip

got some info, mounting directions and pics on those fork gaiters.

thanks in advance

Took off the stock black one.

Drove it to the chromers.

Came back in about a week.

Handed over $125.00!
