I was told it would bolt up and fit my bike by some idiot that works for the company. And another guy at the company is now saying that it won't and they don't have one that will fit. So, I'm trying to figure out how much work is needed to get this one to fit without all the hassle of sending it back and trying to find one that will.

Man ... I love Mr Multi's responses...
But now I have a question? So by reading this is gather that the pulley on a soft tail is a few teeth bigger? Or it it the same size?
So this will work like a gear change in a car then? A little more torque?

Not diameter (or teeth), he's trying to get another pulley "offset" ...the dimensional relationship between the mounting flange and the drive belt line...think width

It will probably be easier (for you) to return and then get or "build" the correct wheel

yes the tooth count and diameter are a little different on different bikes. I know there is a softail pulley that's 70 tooth like mine, does not have the offset that mine has, and will bolt up. I was hoping somebody here had done this swap before and let me know it works before I send the wheel back.

Only issue there is they don't make one that fits my bike and only similar one I've found that does is $800 more expensive.
