Does anyone have footboards on their Fat Bob as opposed to the original pegs it came with?

With the pegs and stock seat my 16 has, it keeps you very snug when seated but I wonder if footboards would be better and more comfortable or could they be worse... Attachment 519906

 

I didn't have a fatbob but I had em on my street bob. It was a little better but still a little cramped on very long rides. I have forward controls on my fxdls and that's my favorite. I can stretch out and set my heels on them for long highway rides.

 

I footboards on my fatbob, had forwards when I got it and hated them. I would recommend the HD ones as the Wyatt Gatling ones are too high and I had to lower them. I like them, give you some more room to squirm around and change positions which pegs don't.

 

I was just wondering as I thought you might loose that 'tucked in' feeling having your feet flat on the boards as you ride.

 

My dads 09 superglide has boards. Love them on a dyna. You can move your feet around, and on trips that's a nice thing to have. Those and his mustang seat, he's been digging it that's for sure.

When running in corners you can slide your feet back and use the ***** of your feet on the back edge of the board. Or put your heels in the front edge and stretch out. Actually now I want a set.

 

I have footboards and love them , you have to change the stock exhaust otherwise they will not fit. ps buy the Harley kit it works out way cheaper.
